About
Wajir South Technical and Vocational College (WSTVC) was established in 2017 to provide vocational training tailored to the arid and semi-arid context of northeastern Kenya. Its mission is to equip local youth with practical skills in agriculture, livestock management, construction, and ICT, thereby reducing unemployment and fostering sustainable livelihoods.
The college offers Certificate and Diploma programmes in Agriculture, Livestock Production, Building Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Business Management.
The college collaborates with NGOs and government agencies to offer scholarships and bursaries, ensuring access for marginalized students. In 2026, it continues to expand its workshop facilities and introduce blended learning modules to reach remote
