For students

Choose with more than a cluster point.

Placement asks seventeen year olds to rank courses they have never seen, toward careers nobody has described to them honestly. This is the reference that decision should have had.

2,912Courses, with fees and entry marks

Where it varies

The field is the wrong unit.

Everybody is told to pick a sector. Medicine is safe, arts are not, technology is the future. The catalogue does not support any of that. Sector averages sit 56 points apart end to end, while the ratings inside a single sector span 27 at their narrowest. The choice that matters is the course and the career, not the family they belong to.

Strengths

Built around strengths, not scores.

A cluster point measures how you performed in one exam season. It is a real constraint on where you can apply, and a poor description of what you are good at.

Is a diploma in analytics worth it if I already have a BCom?

Coach

A BCom already clears the entry bar for data engineering, so a diploma is not a requirement. Your roadmap skips it and goes straight to certification and hands-on pipelines.

If you want the credential for credibility it is fine, but it costs time and money that could go toward the AWS Certified Machine Learning, Specialty at KES 25,000, which employers here actually screen for.
