Pan Africa Christian University (PAC University)

Originally founded in 1978 as Pan Africa Christian College (PACC) by the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), the institution was established on the site of the former Lumumba Institute in Nairobi. Chartered in 2014 as Pan Africa Christian University (PAC), the university serves over 2,500 students across its Thika Road and Valley Road campuses in Nairobi.

The university operates three schools including Theology, Leadership Business and Technology, and Humanities and Social Sciences. Its Pentecostal heritage emphasises spiritual formation alongside academic excellence, with programmes designed for both church ministry and marketplace leadership.

Accredited by CUE and the Africa Inland Church (AIC) Education Council, PAC ranks 46th nationally. Its focus on transforming Africa through Christian leadership formation makes it a key institution for theology and values-based business education in Kenya.

Pac university focuses on research in theology, business, and communication, with a growing number of publications in african christian scholarship, leadership studies, and pentecostal theology. the school of theology advances research on pentecostal theology, african christianity, and the role of the pentecostal movement in social transformation across east africa. the school of leadership, business and technology investigates ethical leadership, entrepreneurship, and technology applications within a biblical framework, while the school of humanities and social sciences contributes research on social dynamics, communication, and community development. partnership with the pan africa christian council and the christian churches education association connects pac to broader christian education networks. the africa inland church (aic) education council partnership supports collaborative research in theological education. research output increasingly informs church policy, leadership development, and pentecostal scholarship in kenya, bridging biblical scholarship with the practical challenges of african christian leadership and community engagement.

A C+ mean grade is the minimum for a Bachelor's degree; competitive programmes (medicine, engineering, law, nursing, architecture) require higher grades and specific KCSE subject clusters. Master's programmes require a relevant Bachelor's degree; PhD programmes a relevant Master's degree.
