KAG East University (KAGEU)

Founded in 1975 as the East Africa School of Theology and chartered in 2014, KAG East University is a private Pentecostal university located in Nairobi. The university serves over 3,000 students across its Main Campus.

The university operates three schools including Theology, Business, and Education. Its Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG) heritage emphasises Pentecostal theology and practical ministry training, producing church leaders and Christian educators across East Africa.

Accredited by CUE and the Assemblies of God Education Council, KAG East ranks 59th nationally. Its five-decade history of Pentecostal theological education makes it the premier Assemblies of God training institution in East Africa, serving the denomination's rapidly growing network of churches across the region.

A C+ mean grade is the minimum for a Bachelor's degree; competitive programmes (medicine, engineering, law, nursing, architecture) require higher grades and specific KCSE subject clusters. Master's programmes require a relevant Bachelor's degree; PhD programmes a relevant Master's degree.
