Nuu Technical and Vocational College (NTV7)

Nuu Technical and Vocational College, located in Kitui County, was established in 2015 to address the skills gap in Eastern Kenya. It is a public TVET institution accredited by TVETA and KNQA, offering a range of diploma and certificate programmes in engineering, ICT, business, hospitality, and agriculture.

The college's mission is to equip youth with practical, industry-relevant skills for employment and entrepreneurship. As part of Kenya's TVET expansion, The institution TVC plays a vital role in providing accessible vocational education to rural communities, contributing to the government's agenda of producing a skilled workforce for the 'Big Four' agenda and Vision 2030.

The college emphasizes hands-on training through modern workshops and partnerships with local industries.

Nuu Technical and Vocational College conducts applied technical research and skills innovation aligned with the TVET CDACC Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework and Kitui County development priorities. The institution hosts annual technical trade exhibitions and participates in regional KATTI research fairs, showcasing student and faculty innovations in renewable energy (solar and biogas installations), metal fabrication, agricultural mechanization, electrical building services, and ICT business solutions. Applied research projects collaborate with local informal sector artisans (Jua Kali), county vocational directorates, and community micro-enterprises to deliver practical engineering prototypes and community-level economic solutions.
