Kenya School Of Agriculture - Ugenya Campus (KSA)

Kenya School of Agriculture, Ugenya Campus is a satellite campus of KSA located in Ugenya, Siaya County, Kenya. The campus extends KSA's agricultural training to the Lake Victoria region, offering certificate and diploma courses tailored to the area's farming and fishing economy.

The campus offers programmes in Crop Production, Livestock Management, Agricultural Extension, and Aquaculture, with practical training on demonstration farms and fish ponds. Facilities include crop fields, livestock units, and aquaculture ponds.

Accredited by TVETA and KNEC, the campus serves as the primary agricultural training centre for the Lake Victoria region, supporting the farming and fishing communities of Siaya and neighbouring counties.

KSA Ugenya Campus conducts applied research on Lake Victoria basin agro-ecological farming, cassava and indigenous grain multiplication, smallholder poultry production, and integrated pest management tailored to western Kenya.

The campus requires a minimum KCSE mean grade of C- (Minus) for diploma programmes and D (Plain) for craft certificates. Competitive programmes include Diploma in General Agriculture and aquaculture training modules. The campus accepts KUCCPS-placed and self-sponsored students. Bridging courses are available through CBET modular training for applicants who do not meet direct entry requirements.
