Originally training P1, P2, and P3 primary teachers, the college has diversified into diploma-level teacher education and technical training.

Admission requirements
The college requires a minimum KCSE mean grade of C+ (Plus) for Diploma in Primary Teacher Education and C (Plain) for diploma business courses. Certificate courses require D (Plain). KASNEB professional courses are available for accounting and finance career paths.
