Shanzu Teachers Technical Training College, established in May 1967, is a public TVET and teacher training institution located along the Mombasa-Malindi road in Mombasa County, Kenya. Originally training P1, P2, and P3 primary teachers, the college has diversified into diploma-level teacher education and technical training.

The college offers the Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education alongside technical courses examined by KNEC, KASNEB, NITA, and ICM, with departments spanning education, business studies, and technical trades. Facilities include lecture halls, workshops, and hostels.

Accredited by TVETA and the Ministry of Education, the institution is the only public teachers training college in the coastal region, serving as the primary teacher preparation centre for Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, and Lamu counties.

Admission requirements

The college requires a minimum KCSE mean grade of C+ (Plus) for Diploma in Primary Teacher Education and C (Plain) for diploma business courses. Certificate courses require D (Plain). Competitive programmes include Diploma in Primary Teacher Education, Diploma in Business Management, and Diploma in ICT. The college accepts KUCCPS-placed and self-sponsored students. KASNEB professional courses are available for accounting and finance career paths.
