Naivasha Technical and Vocational College (NTV4)

Naivasha Technical and Vocational College (NTVC) was established in 2014 under the Kenya government's initiative to expand access to quality technical and vocational education. Located in the heart of Naivasha, Nakuru County, the college was founded to address the skills gap in the region's key economic sectors, including geothermal energy, horticulture, and tourism. Its mission is to produce competent, innovative, and ethical graduates who can contribute to national development and self-reliance.

The college offers a wide range of certificate and diploma programmes accredited by TVETA.

Accredited by TVETA and KNEC, the institution serves as a key technical training centre for the region, supporting the local economy with skilled graduates.

Naivasha Technical and Vocational College conducts applied technical research and skills innovation aligned with the TVET CDACC Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework and Nakuru County development priorities. The institution hosts annual technical trade exhibitions and participates in regional KATTI research fairs, showcasing student and faculty innovations in renewable energy (solar and biogas installations), metal fabrication, agricultural mechanization, electrical building services, and ICT business solutions. Applied research projects collaborate with local informal sector artisans (Jua Kali), county vocational directorates, and community micro-enterprises to deliver practical engineering prototypes and community-level economic solutions.
