About

Loima Technical and Vocational College (LTVC) was established in 2019 under the Kenya Vision 2030 initiative to expand access to technical education in arid and semi-arid regions. Located in Loima Sub-County, Turkana County, the college was built in partnership with the national government and local stakeholders to address the skills gap in pastoralist communities. Its mission is to provide quality, market-driven technical and vocational training that empowers youth and promotes sustainable livelihoods in northwestern Kenya.

The college offers a range of diploma and certificate programs aligned with national development goals, including agriculture, livestock management, renewable energy, construction,.

Accredited by TVETA and KNEC, the institution serves as a key technical training centre for the region, supporting the local economy with skilled graduates.
