About

Konoin Technical Training Institute (KTTI) was established in 2012 to address the growing demand for skilled labour in the Rift Valley region. Located in Bomet County, the institute was founded with support from the Kenyan government and local community, aiming to provide accessible technical and vocational education.

Its mission is to produce competent, innovative, and ethical graduates who can contribute to Kenya's industrialisation and sustainable development. KTTI offers a range of programmes including Certificate and Diploma courses in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical), Information Communication Technology, Business Management, and Hospitality.

The institute also runs short courses in emerging fields such as renewable energy and agribusiness. As part of Kenya's TVET transformation agenda, KTTI plays a vital role in equipping youth with practical skills for self-employment and formal employment, thereby reducing
