About
Kiirua Technical Training Institute (KTTI) was established in 1979 as a Government Technical Training Institute under the Ministry of Education. Located in Meru County, it has grown to become a key provider of middle-level technical and vocational education in eastern Kenya.
Its mission is to produce competent and innovative graduates for the local and national labor market. The institute offers over 20 programs in Engineering, ICT, Business, Applied Sciences, and Hospitality, including diplomas and craft certificates.
KTTI plays a vital role in Kenya's Big Four Agenda and the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework, ensuring graduates meet industry standards.
