Research and innovation
The Kenya School of Agriculture focuses on applied agricultural extension research, climate-resilient crop agronomy, drip irrigation optimization, and dairy herd productivity. In collaboration with KALRO and county agriculture directorates, researchers conduct demonstration trials on post-harvest grain loss mitigation, certified seed multiplication, and farmer field school methodologies.

Admission requirements
The college requires a minimum KCSE mean grade of C- (Minus) for diploma programmes, D (Plain) for certificates, and KCPE for artisan courses. The college accepts KUCCPS-placed and self-sponsored students. Government capitation and HELB loans are available for eligible students.
