Karumo Technical Training Institute (KTTI) was established in 2011 as a public TVET institution under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Kenya. Located in Tharaka-Nithi County, the institute was founded to address the growing demand for skilled technical and vocational graduates in the region.
Its mission is to provide quality, accessible, and affordable technical education that empowers youth with practical skills for self-reliance and employment. KTTI offers a wide range of programmes including Diploma and Certificate courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, and Hospitality.
