Eldama Ravine Technical and Vocational College (ERTV)

Eldama Ravine Technical and Vocational College (ERTVC) is a public TVET institution located in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, Kenya. Established in 2016 under the Kenya Vision 2030 initiative to expand access to technical education, the college has grown to serve the Rift Valley region with a mandate to equip youth with practical skills for employment and self-reliance.

The institution's mission is to provide quality, competency-based training that meets industry standards and fosters innovation. ERTVC offers a range of certificate and diploma programmes in engineering, business, ICT, and applied sciences, including courses in electrical installation, plumbing, automotive mechanics, secretarial studies, information technology, and agribusiness.

The institution hosts annual technical trade exhibitions and participates in regional KATTI research fairs, showcasing student and faculty innovations in renewable energy (solar and biogas installations), metal fabrication, agricultural mechanization, electrical building services, and ICT business solutions. Applied research projects collaborate with local informal sector artisans (Jua Kali), county vocational directorates, and community micro-enterprises to deliver practical engineering prototypes and community-level economic solutions.
