Common misconceptions

This is a different career outcome from the standard Diploma in Building.
Career outcomes are largely the same; the difference is mainly in the competency-based assessment structure (CBET) versus conventional KNEC exams.
CBET qualifications are less rigorous.
CBET assessment against national occupational standards can be more rigorous in verifying hands-on competence than a single written exam.
