Certificate in Perioperative Theatre Technology

The Certificate in Perioperative Theatre Technology is a KNEC-examined programme that trains individuals to assist in operating theatre operations including preparation, instrument management, and patient support. The programme is accredited by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) and examined by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).

Trainees develop competencies in theatre preparation, surgical instrument handling, sterilisation, patient positioning, aseptic technique, and basic anaesthesia support. The curriculum combines theoretical instruction with extensive practical training in operating theatre environments.
