Bachelor of Philosophy in Technology in Biotechnology (Medical Option)
The Bachelor of Philosophy in Technology in Biotechnology with a Medical Option is a two-year integrated postgraduate technical programme at the Technical University of Kenya that prepares diploma holders for advanced biotechnology practice in medical and diagnostic settings. Students study molecular biology, medical biotechnology, diagnostics, bioprocessing, immunology and research methods. The programme builds on prior diploma training to develop specialist medical biotechnology competencies.
