Bachelor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management

The Bachelor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a four-year programme that prepares students for logistics operations, supply chain management and transport planning. Students study logistics, supply chain management, procurement, transport and warehousing. The programme focuses on the efficient flow of goods, services and information from source to consumer.

Students develop competencies in logistics management, supply chain optimisation, procurement, inventory management, transport planning and supply chain analytics. They learn to manage logistics operations, optimise supply chains, plan transport and manage inventory. The programme covers logistics, supply chain, procurement, transport and warehousing.

In Kenya, logistics and supply chain is critical for trade, manufacturing and retail. Kenya's position as a regional transport hub and growing manufacturing sector create demand. Graduates find roles in logistics companies, manufacturing firms, retail chains, import-export companies, NGOs and consulting firms.

Teaching is delivered through lectures, case studies, industry visits, industrial attachment and research projects. Students analyse supply chain cases, use logistics software, visit warehouses and undertake industrial attachment. The programme includes a final-year research project.
