Bachelor of Global Leadership and Governance

The Bachelor of Global Leadership and Governance at USIU-Africa is a four-year degree programme that equips students with leadership and governance skills for public, private, and non-profit sectors. The programme bridges competence gaps by emphasising practical management and leadership tools to achieve better organisational results.

The curriculum covers leadership theory, governance, public administration, organisational behaviour, financial management, business ethics, policy formulation and implementation, entrepreneurship, project management, international relations, strategic management, and research methods.

Teaching combines lectures, case studies, simulations, and an optional global tour experience. Students develop practical skills through industry linkages with professional bodies. The programme emphasises ethical leadership and responsible governance across sectors.

Graduates pursue careers as leadership consultants, governance officers, policy analysts, public administrators, programme managers, organisational development specialists, and NGO leaders. Opportunities exist in government, international organisations, corporate sector, NGOs, and consulting firms.

The programme is offered at USIU-Africa, a private university in Nairobi. Admission requires a KCSE mean grade of C+. The programme runs for four years with intakes in January, May, and September. Students benefit from USIU-Africa international linkages and industry partnerships.

Accreditation is provided by the Commission for University Education (CUE). Annual tuition is approximately KES 443,250 based on the official USIU-Africa fee schedule of KES 147,750 per semester for Kenyan students.
