Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Management

The Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Management is a four-year programme that prepares students for entrepreneurial ventures and management roles in organisations. Students study entrepreneurship, business management, leadership, finance, marketing and organisational behaviour. The programme combines entrepreneurial skills with management competencies.

Students develop competencies in venture creation, business management, leadership, financial management, strategic planning and organisational development. They learn to start businesses, manage teams, plan strategically and drive organisational growth. The programme covers entrepreneurship, management theory, accounting, marketing and leadership.

In Kenya, entrepreneurship and management skills are essential for both self-employment and corporate careers. Kenya's SME sector and corporate growth create opportunities. Graduates find roles as entrepreneurs, managers, business development officers, project managers and consultants.

Teaching is delivered through lectures, case studies, business projects, industrial attachment and research projects. Students develop business plans, analyse case studies, manage projects and undertake industrial attachment. The programme includes a final-year research or business project.

Graduates pursue careers as entrepreneurs, business managers, development officers, project managers and business consultants. Some start their own ventures. Others join companies, NGOs or government agencies.
