Uzima University (UU)

Established in 2020 as Uzima University College and chartered in 2023, Uzima University is a private Catholic university located in Kisumu, Kisumu County. The university serves over 500 students across its Main Campus.

The university operates two schools including Nursing and Medicine. Its health sciences programmes address the critical shortage of medical professionals in Kenya's western region, with clinical training partnerships at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital.
