About

Founded in 2012 by renowned Kenyan educationists Daniel and Eddah Gachukia, Riara University is the culmination of the Riara Group of Schools, which began in 1974. Located in Lang'ata, Nairobi, the university serves over 3,000 students across its Main Campus.

The university operates six schools including the Riara Law School, School of Business, School of Computing Sciences, School of International Relations and Diplomacy, School of Communication and Multimedia Journalism, and School of Education. Its law school is CLE-accredited.

Accredited by CUE and the Council of Legal Education (CLE), the institution ranks 55th nationally.
