Tseikuru Technical Training Institute (TTTI)

Tseikuru Technical Training Institute is a public TVET institution in Kitui County, Kenya. Located in Mwingi North constituency, the institute serves over 800 students from Kenya's eastern region, including the semi-arid areas of Kitui and Tharaka Nithi.

The institute offers diploma and certificate courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Building and Civil Engineering, Business Studies, and Agriculture and Environmental Studies. Facilities include engineering workshops, computer labs, and a library.

Tseikuru Technical Training Institute conducts applied technical research and skills innovation aligned with the TVET CDACC Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework and Kitui County development priorities. The institution hosts annual technical trade exhibitions and participates in regional KATTI research fairs, showcasing student and faculty innovations in renewable energy (solar and biogas installations), metal fabrication, agricultural mechanization, electrical building services, and ICT business solutions. The college requires a minimum KCSE mean grade of C- (Minus) for diploma programmes, D (Plain) for certificates, and KCPE for artisan courses. The college accepts KUCCPS-placed and self-sponsored students. Government capitation and HELB loans are available for eligible students.
