Riragia Technical Training Institute (RTTI)

Riragia Technical Training Institute is a public TVET institution in Kisii County, Kenya. Located in the Kitutu Chache North constituency, the institute has grown rapidly since its founding in 2019, now serving over 2,600 students from the Gusii region and beyond.

The institute offers diploma and certificate courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Building and Civil Engineering, Business Studies, Fashion and Clothing Technology, and Information Communication Technology. Riragia Technical Training Institute conducts applied technical research and skills innovation aligned with the TVET CDACC Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework and Kisii County development priorities. The institute requires a minimum KCSE mean grade of C- (Minus) for diploma programmes, D (Plain) for craft certificates, and open entry for artisan courses. Competitive programmes include Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Diploma in Fashion and Clothing Technology. The institute accepts KUCCPS-placed and self-sponsored students. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programmes are available for applicants with industry experience.
