Nyamira National Polytechnic is a public TVET institution in Nyamira County, Kenya. Established in 1978 as a technical training institute and later elevated to national polytechnic status, the institution serves over 3,200 students from the Gusii highlands and western Kenya.
The polytechnic offers diploma and certificate courses in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Building and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Fashion Design and Cosmetology, Agriculture and Environmental Studies, Computer Studies and Informatics, and Business Studies. Facilities include a library, workshops, computer labs, sports facilities, and student hostels.
Accredited by TVETA and KNQA, the polytechnic is the only national polytechnic in The institution County, serving as the primary technical training centre for Kenya's Gusii region.
