Njoro Technical Training Institute (Njoro TTI) was established in 1979 as a government-sponsored vocational training center in Nakuru County. Originally focused on agricultural mechanics and carpentry, it has grown to offer over 30 programs in engineering, ICT, business, and hospitality.
The institute is committed to producing competent graduates for Kenya's industrial sector through competency-based education and training (CBET). With a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, The institution TTI partners with local industries for attachments and apprenticeships.
In 2026, the institute expanded its blended learning options, integrating online theory with practical workshops. It plays a vital role in bridging skills gaps in the Rift Valley region and nationally.
