About

Muraga Technical and Vocational College, located in the heart of Muraga, Tharaka Nithi County, was established in 2015 to bridge the skills gap in the region. The college was born out of a community initiative supported by the Kenyan government under the TVET expansion program, aiming to provide accessible technical education to rural youth.

Its mission is to equip students with practical, industry-relevant skills that foster self-reliance and contribute to Kenya's Vision 2030 objectives.

As a key player in Kenya's TVET landscape, The institution Technical College serves as a model for competency-based education in semi-arid areas, producing graduates who are ready for formal employment
