Langata Technical and Vocational College (LTV2)

Langata Technical and Vocational College (LTVC), established in 2015 under the Kenya TVET reform agenda, is a public institution located in Langata, Nairobi County. It was founded to bridge the skills gap in technical and vocational education, aligning with Kenya's Vision 2030 and the Big Four Agenda.

The college offers a wide range of diploma, certificate, and artisan programs in engineering, information communication technology (ICT), business studies, hospitality, and applied sciences. LTVC is committed to producing competent, innovative, and entrepreneurial graduates who meet the demands of the modern workforce.

The institution hosts annual technical trade exhibitions and participates in regional KATTI research fairs, showcasing student and faculty innovations in renewable energy (solar and biogas installations), metal fabrication, agricultural mechanization, electrical building services, and ICT business solutions. Applied research projects collaborate with local informal sector artisans (Jua Kali), county vocational directorates, and community micro-enterprises to deliver practical engineering prototypes and community-level economic solutions.
