About
Koshin Technical Training Institute (KTTI) was established in 2018 with a mission to provide quality technical and vocational education to the youth of West Pokot County and beyond in Kenya. The institute is committed to empowering students with practical skills that meet the demands of the modern workforce, fostering self-reliance and economic development in the region. Over the years, KTTI has grown from a small training center into a fully-fledged TVET institution, offering a diverse range of programmes.
The institute offers diploma and certificate courses in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Information Communication Technology (ICT), Business Management, and Agriculture.
Accredited by TVETA and KNEC, the institution serves as a key technical training centre for the region, supporting the local economy.

Research and innovation
Koshin Technical Training Institute conducts applied technical research and skills innovation aligned with the TVET CDACC Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework and Uasin Gishu County development priorities. The institution hosts annual technical trade exhibitions and participates in regional KATTI research fairs, showcasing student and faculty innovations in renewable energy (solar and biogas installations), metal fabrication, agricultural mechanization, electrical building services, and ICT business solutions.
