Kericho Township Technical and Vocational College (KTTV)

Kericho Township Technical and Vocational College, established in 2015, is a public TVET institution located in Kericho County, Kenya. It was founded to address the growing demand for skilled labor in the agricultural and industrial sectors of the Rift Valley region.

The college's mission is to provide quality, affordable, and accessible technical and vocational education and training that empowers students with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship. It offers a range of diploma and certificate programs in engineering, information technology, business studies, hospitality, and agriculture.

As part of Kenya's TVET revitalization agenda, the college plays a crucial role in equipping youth with competency-based skills aligned to industry needs, thereby contributing to the country's Vision 2030 and the Big Four Agenda.

Kericho Township Technical and Vocational College conducts applied technical research and skills innovation aligned with the TVET CDACC Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework and Kericho County development priorities. The institution hosts annual technical trade exhibitions and participates in regional KATTI research fairs, showcasing student and faculty innovations in renewable energy (solar and biogas installations), metal fabrication, agricultural mechanization, electrical building services, and ICT business solutions. Applied research projects collaborate with local informal sector artisans (Jua Kali), county vocational directorates, and community micro-enterprises to deliver practical engineering prototypes and community-level economic solutions.
