Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity is a postgraduate programme offered at three Kenyan universities: Africa International University, International Leadership University, and Pan Africa Christian University. Holders of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) with relevant experience, or those with postgraduate diplomas in theology or related disciplines, may also be considered. Some institutions offer mature entry pathways for candidates with diplomas and significant ministry experience.

The programme is offered through flexible modes including evening classes, weekend classes, modular intensives, and remote teaching, accommodating working professionals and ministry practitioners. Intakes typically occur in January, May, and September at most institutions.

Graduates are prepared for ordained ministry, church leadership, missionary service, theological education, chaplaincy, and parachurch organisational leadership.
