Overview

Students engage with advanced French linguistics, French and Francophone literature, translation studies, cultural studies, and research methodology. The programme combines coursework with thesis research, requiring candidates to develop a research proposal, conduct independent textual and field research, and produce a doctoral dissertation that makes an original contribution to French studies.
