Chemical engineering diploma holders work only in labs.
Much of the work is plant/process-floor based, operating and monitoring industrial equipment rather than laboratory bench work.
This is the same as Analytical Chemistry.
Chemical Engineering focuses on industrial process operations, while Analytical Chemistry focuses on laboratory testing and analysis.
