Diploma in Applied Biology
The Diploma in Applied Biology is a TVET CDACC Level 6 qualification that equips learners with competencies to work as applied biologists in research institutions, laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, and agricultural organisations.
The curriculum covers cytological and histological techniques, anatomy and physiology concepts, plant and animal husbandry, taxonomical concepts, ecological techniques, museum and herbarium techniques, immunological techniques, microbiological techniques, parasitological and entomological techniques, genetics principles, biochemical analysis, pharmacological and toxicological techniques, and science laboratory research.

Training combines classroom theory with extensive laboratory practicals in fully equipped science laboratories. Trainees work with microscopes, centrifuges, autoclaves, spectrophotometers, and other laboratory instruments.
